Walk for Justice 2012 – Melbourne

Remember the Calorie Neutral Challenge? Here’s the latest.
Melbourne’s Walk for Justice is the perfect trifecta – loose weight, participate in a great public health initiative and raise money for poverty law services!
Turning 5 in 2012, the annual walk celebrates National Pro Bono Day and raises much-needed funds for the Public Interest Law Clearing House Vic (PILCH).
PILCH is an independent, not-for-profit organisation which provides free legal assistance for the most vulnerable. They seek to address the systemic causes of injustice, working with asylum seekers, seniors, community organisations, people experiencing homelessness.

In 2011 hundreds of people got out of bed early  to Walk for Justice,  raising over $9000 to help disadvantaged clients access free legal services. Be part of in 2012!

To support this great initiative you can register to walksponsor a walker or donate.
